  1. I’ve got some exotic birds form mcmurrayhatchery (dot) com before I love having chickens, (though I don’t at present). You’ll enjoy reading abut the birds on their web page. I bought the book Stander of Perfection off them about 15 years ago, spent countless hrs. looking at the photos & reading it, but the price of the book is even higher price now. Raising chickens is something you do for enjoyment not for economics. Thanks for the view or you birds. “Good for nothing Duck” true, but still cute

  3. Love all you chickens. I just ordered (literately about 5 mins ago) some of the breeds you have and was wondering if you have ever hatched any of the eggs and if so what the heck did they look like because of all the different breeds??? Keep posting great vids!

  4. They are called trolls….people that have nothing better to do than go thru youtube and dislike and leave vulgar comments! I just try to ignore them! Its the kind folks like you that makes it worthwhile! THANKS!!

  5. We were so honored to hear! They are a wonderfully sweet breed! I miss our “Prissy” everyday!! I was amazed at the quantity of eggs our duck produces! She layed everyday for weeks! I can also tell you..she does not like to be held!! lol

  6. I love her and i love your video. Because of this, i bought a black and white crested polish hen and named her miss priss! she also loves to be in your lap 🙂 I also like your “good-for-nuthin duck” haha

  9. It was a very tough morning when I found heard. There is a memorial to her and marker in the backyard to her memory. I miss her everyday when I feed and water them!

  10. Huge smile and giggles the whole time I was watching this. Loved the commentary and my condolences on Miss Priss–I fell in love with her in two seconds..can imagine how hard that was to lose her. Thanks for the sweet video!

  11. Yes she was..sadly we lost her last Feb. of still unknown causes,but the year that we had her she was quite a character! Super friendly and a joy!

  14. Thanks! Raise them from tiny chicks and hand raise them, they will follow you and stay in your lap as long as they can! As good as any dog or cat!!

  15. White Leghorns.R.I. Reds,Dominiques for laying and great temperment…Spend time with them and feed them treats often,by hand! Raise them from tiny chicks! Never get full grown ones unless they have been “hand raised”.Thanks!

  17. I’m sorry to hear that! she sure was a beautiful and sweet girl. We’re planning on getting a few gals for our backyard and hope our’s are as sweet and good tempered.
