I would make a mess & in my opinion it is not worth the savings. We only stock & sell the RTG boxes. We package these boxes in cardboard and or bubble wrap to protect them during shipment. Our boxes are better designed and approximately 30% more ventilation than our main competitor’s boxes. Also if you cable tie, or tape 3 or 4 of these boxes together to save on shipping cost, our middle boxes will have over 50% more ventilation than our competitors middle box. Our boxes are tall with a lot of ventilation in the top. The heat rises and escapes. Another Advantage of our Horizon ‘Light’ boxes, they are 2 inches longer & 2 inches narrower than our competitors. Adult birds with long tail feathers need the extra length. You can cable tie or tape 4 boxes side by side and still be under USPS’s 108 inch rule. It calculates out to 104 inches(20″ + 20″ + 16″ + 16″ + (8″ x 4)). Our competitors boxes, because of the bulkier handle system, if you tie 4 of them together the measurement would come out to 114 inches which is over the 108 inch rule. So in comparison, the Horizon boxes are better designed, less expensive, more ventilation, and you save money shipping your birds. Returned items subject to 20% restocking fee.
