i purchased a 30×100 pole barn that was build in 1969. paid 150$ tore it down and hauled it all home and made a 30×40 horse barn out of it.. found it on craigslist. i cut the poles off at the ground they where still 12ft tall…so the barn i built was shorter but o well..
Been complete for about 6 years and no leaks there so far. I needed them because I didn’t plan on installing electric and lighting (too far from house), However, the roof vent system does let snow blow in ubder it in the winter, not much though. Thanks for watching!
Crap- I built a pole barn just like this. Poles had been set and in the ground for like 3 years, were out of plumb and badly warped, had to use my truck to get them some semblance of “plumb”. Built the damn thing ALONE, over a month. I still wonder how I pulled it off….nice barn man. I want to build my own, for myself. Tearing down a couple of old houses right now for the lumber. I’m broke and cheap but I have callouses, hahaha…nice pole barn.
This was a lot better video before youtube turned off the sound. Now it’s just photo after photo, which stinks. If you have any questions send me a note and I’ll try to help. Thanks for watching.
Nice! I am about to build my first on the small farm I recently aquired, it is in central tx so I have to deal with 118 degrees! 😛 Looks like you built your’s the way mine looks in my mind!

No comment on barn. I liked the music a lot.

The metal was $2,500 and about $1,300 for the wood, concrete, and rafters. Thanks for watching

you’ll probably regret putting in those skylights. Just a matter of time before the leaks start.
Jesus christ is king of kings and lord of lords
@fordfreak17 Yes, we use it as a horse barn. Thanks for watching.
It’s 30X40. They are 10′ centers. The rafter company built them for that distance. Thanks for watching.
How big is this barn? Is that 10′ centers on the rafters? Looks good!!
The roof and sides are galvaized steel. Thanks for looking!
is that a galvanized steel or an aluminum siding/roofing material?
