This is great idea. Maybe if you are looking for some new garden stuff, look on rattanart.co.uk
Verynice
beautiful job, but are there no load bearing issues. I mean how is the decking handling this weight? beautiful job man.
I wanna party!!!!!!!!!!!
You put the scratch coat on and let it cure over night before setting the stones. Thanks for watching, Craig Heffernan
Do you need to wait for the scratch coat to set before continuing or is it done wet?
Amazing work!
Oh I could just smell that wood being cut. Mmm. Can’t wait for spring. (Nope not yet here in the frozen north! We get to hibernate a bit longer)
Funny you mention this. This year the customer had a grill area constructed next to this outdoor bar. It has a mini fridge, stainless grill & lower cabinets and also has the same stone and granite counter tops. It is right next to the bar and blends nicely. I will have to make a quick update video this spring and will post soon after. Thanks for watching, Craig Heffernan
Put the palapa right next to the grill. Smart.
grill with a fridge and a mini fridge the some cabnets and a built in roof that coverd the conters also i would have built in bar sorta thing
if i made one i would have a huge stainless steal grillc
Good job! I taped this video for my future project. thank you!
muy bonita tu barra felicitaciones
Really enjoyed watching this, good job.
Very good craftsmanship.
the big blob in the side of the bricks at 9:22 bothers me.
wait a minute! He build first the bar and then cooked? These guys have not noticed that slavery is gone nowadays?
Great video I like the way the music ties in with everything. Great Job.
Try using a cultured clean cut stone cutter.
1:19 The most awkward high 5 and handshake ever!
use bricks it is faster
On this particular job the scratch coat is actually going vertical. There is no extra support for the stone no matter what direction the scratches are going. Bonding the stones to a scratch coat is more for withdraw power then sheer power. I hope this was helpful and thanks for watching.
Can you explain why your scratch coat is diagonal rather than horizontal? Wouldn’t horizontal provide more overall grab and support?
Nice. Clearly the cost was in the granite. Good jod
