  1. Good job!! We had to put a floor in our coop and can’t let our girls out.
    We have coyotes and skunks that dug under the chicken wire area and got all
    our chicken 2 years ago. So last spring we put a floor in and got more
    chicks and they are doing great, giving us plenty eggs. I wish we could let
    them roam more, but in our area we can’t.

  3. the netting is pretty fine. you might want to thread some color into it
    before you end up catching a hawk that is diving in. it wont take much just
    some colored ribbon that the hawk can see

  4. my grandma has buffs, they are gentle, good layers, & good on the table as
    well! The coop is looking very nice, sorry you lost a bird though!! God

  6. ill bet! just my own little murder scenen was pretty horrific and i was
    expecting to see what i saw. i can imagine the horror of people not
    expecting to see carnage thier in there yard. almost makes me wish i could
    have been a fly on that wall.

  7. i just watched the whole thing and i realized i did far to much rambling.
    im trying to knock out some of the idle banter in my vids but when your a
    talker at heart,its kind of difficult to stop.

  8. Odd as it may sounds I read a while back that if you give your chickens who
    have stopped laying some rabbit droppings in their regular feed it will
    cause them to begin laying again. Raising both hens and rabbits I tried it
    and, by-golly it worked. I guess its because the rabbit feed is mostly
    alfalfa and some nutrients are passed through and this helps. Anyhow, the
    chickens do seem to relish it.
