  1. If you don’t fasten those inside parts somehow, the chickens will kick them out of place, and the problem with a run with low height is, what if you have to retrieve a sick or dead chicken?

  2. The flaws I see with this coop is, the Roost should be above the egg boxes or else you may find them roosting in the next boxes and pooping in them (they poop a lot when perched) , I had this problem last winter with my old coop.

  3. wow, that’s really slick. Wish I had a nice coup like that when I had chickens. It’s nice and neat and easy to service and keep clean. I love the nesting boxes.

  6. i used pretty much the same design with the nesting boxes and the removable platforms but i extended the 2nd story and made under coop available for them to run under if they want to

  8. Holy shit that’s clever!!! What are the dimensions of the box? Seems to me the lattice walkway is made of plastic…wouldn’t there be a chance of them melting under the heat of the lamp?
