www.manschoolprogram.com Simple board and batten door that can be used indoors or out. I used pine planks but you can use tongue and groove for a weather tight application or a really nice-looking interior door. This is a typical style found in colonial style homes.
Thanks for the kind words – glad you liked the video. I turned the shed into a workshop and now enjoy many quiet mornings – alone! Just doin’ what I love.
Thank you for posting this video. Great instruction and video quality! Nice Shed
Ha! We’re in the south. All kinds of critters making sounds. Probably a cicada.
WTF IS THAT NOISE!!!
Hey, thanks for the thumbs up. Glad you liked the build. Some of us still take pride in our work. I never lose sight of the fact that my kids watch everything that I do.
Great looking shed. Good description on the build. Your not a joker like some on youtube.
I built doors like this for the inside of my cabin years ago. This is how interior doors will built in early America. I wouldn’t hesitate at all.
Do you think this type of door would be bad for inside a house? Im thinking about using this for the inside of my house.
I’ve done it that way, too, especially if its wider.
On a door that tall I put a short cross piece in the middle too and two short diagonals, then three ‘ T ‘ hinges on each cross piece, much more secure that way.
