Every RentACoop heater plate has 25 adjustable height settings. Adjust by as little as 1/4″ !
Find the perfect height for your chicks to keep them at the perfect temperature and growing strong.
The standard amount of time you need to keep your baby chicks warm is 8 weeks at which point extra heat is no longer needed. The cost to run RentACoop’s 12×12″ heat plate is just 3.53 USD over 8 weeks running 24 hours per day. Compare that to your standard 250 watt heat bulb which runs 40.32 USD over 8 weeks running 24 hours per day. Both options heat 20 chicks at a time. The heat bulb is less expensive the first day you buy it ~ 10 USD compared to ~60 USD for RentACoop’s heat plate, but over time, you will save money using the RentACoop Heat Plate. The RentACoop heat plate also comes with a 2 year “we’ll fix or replace it help line” upon sign up within 30 days of receiving your product. The heat bulb does not and are known not to last more than 6 months at a time.
Optional Anti-Roosting Covers and Comfort Feathers Available
Every RentACoop heater plate is available for sale with an Anti-Roosting Cover. This cover prevents the chicks from roosting on the heater plate. This will save you countless hours of scrubbing chick poop off of the heater plate, making chick keeping easier.
The 10″x10″ and 12″x12″ RentACoop Heater Plates also have a “Comfort Feathers” option (Pictured left) . These feathers completely change the demeanor of your chicks. Try your heater plate with and without the feathers and you’ll see a huge difference in the temperament of your babies.
