  1. Completely stable. Matter of fact, one of my buddies weighs 400 + pounds and he can lean on it without a problem. We’ve already had women doing bodies shots on it. 🙂

  2. Screws were the most expensive part of the entire project at almost $40. But I wanted to make sure to use ONLY screws so that it can be disassembled and moved if the need should arise. Underneath the bar are 3 dorm size fridges that I found on craigslist for cheap. You can do it so don’t give up. My friends didn’t believe me either until I decided to just go ahead and do it and proved them wrong!

  3. Because of the need to search around it does lack the convenience of one stop at home depot and $500+ later. This took about a month due to the need to search for materials. I did look around at second hand scrap stores for actual bar tops but all of them averaged 22 inches in width and I really needed 38 inches because of the design that I had chosen. Be sure to use your imagination and think outside of the box. Everything you see should have potential for what it can be and not what it is.
