  1. The Rhode Island reds will peck the araucannas, Rhodes are good layers, but
mean . Araucannas are nice and smart they even look like they reason things
out, their green eggs are cool.
Your nesting boxes should be a foot off the floor, they lay better, one egg
    every day.
I DO NOT like the metal roof above the the egg access, it has sharp corners
. You have small children , it’s an accident waiting to happen.
Please correct that ….one could fold it under or better yet… frame it
with some wood or remove it and use plywood with some exterior paint , yeah
it may not last as long, but it’s safe. I have an unpainted plywood roof
egg access on my coop, I live in North Idaho with snow and rain half the
year and the roof access is 8 years old , but still functional. Its
starting to delaminate , but hey, its safe .
    Overall….
    Workmanship, ok
    Safety, not so good .
General plan , not so good.
    Effort, excellent.
Chicken choice, good , but they breads don’t mix well .
    Making the family happy, EXCELLENT.
    country living, EXCELLENT.
My advice…. next time watch a few videos on your projects , before making
    a video.
Much love to you and yours .

  2. That’s a nice looking coop. The only negative comment is that it looks like
you screwed the roofing screws too tight. The rubber gasket will leak
because it is stretched out too far and will have gaps.

  3. I feel physically sick… between the wild camera swings and the fact that
I watched this up close on a 10 inch HD tablet, I got seasick… buy a
    tripod please
